Herbalist, pharmacist, associate professor, product developer
I graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Szeged in 2002. Since then, I have been working at the same Institute of Pharmacognosy, currently as an assistant professor. My field of research is the chemical and pharmacological examination of plant compounds, the examination of the quality of plant products. I teach phytotherapy and herbal knowledge to pharmacy and medicine students. As the chairman of the Department of Herbs of the Hungarian Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences, I consider the promotion of professional herbal medicine to be one of my main tasks. My research interests include the isolation and structural analysis of biologically active plant materials, as well as the qualitative and quantitative analytical study of herbal preparations, and the evaluation of their biological effects, efficacy and safety.
